I was hesitant at first that the lid to this box was separate, but its a good thing it is, because my last cake was too tall! So I was able to gently place the lid on and then tape it so it remained higher than the sides of the box. Very happy with these boxes and will buy again.

I sometimes take cakes to my vet's office and with Airedales being black and bronze in color, I use these brown boxes and tie them with a wide black grosgrain ribbon. Makes a sophisticated statement that mimics the dogs' coats--and we all appreciate that! Excellent boxes for transporting cakes and I love that these are tall enough.
