Q: I see you have what you call 'natural' bakery
boxes.  Is this made from recycled material?
A: We are most definitely concerned about our environment.  You can read more
about what we are doing by clicking
here.  We are also preoccupied with the
safety of our customers.
We do make boxes from recycled paper.  But these
boxes are being used in applications where they do not come in contact with food.
Q: If your company is concerned about the environment, why don't you make boxes
from recycled paper?
While not recycled, natural bakery boxes use less material than
common board boxes, aren't bleached with strong chemicals, and have
an organic look true to their environmentally responsible make-up.
They are a good green solution and unquestionably safe for food.
We have visited paper mills and have seen the reclamation of post-consumer
paper.  There is, unfortunately, a step necessary in the process where garbage
and other matter is separated from what will be made into recycled paperboard.
We cannot, in good conscience, make bakery boxes from this less-expensive
material knowing food will come in contact with it and then go into someone's
mouth.  We appreciate the value of recycled board - just not for food contact.
Q: I do not live in the United States, does your company ship internationally?
A: Yes, we fill a lot of orders outside of the US.  Getting a shipping quote is fast
and easy.  Click
here to learn more.
Q: All of the prices on your website are for 100 boxes.  Can I order less than 100
boxes?
A: Standardizing our case count to 100 boxes allows us to hold down cost.  We
have the best prices on the Internet, go ahead and look (when you compare, don't
forget -
our shipping is free to US customers).  If ordering 100 boxes is just too
many boxes at once, in spite of the savings, we have a solution!

Big River Packaging has formed an alliance with Jayne's Cakes.  Jayne provides
smaller quantities of BRP boxes.  Click this link

Q: Do you sell to distributors?
A: BRPBoxShop is set up as a wholesale outlet available for bakers and suppliers.
We are often told that our prices are the best on the Internet.  Our prices reflect
the fact that we make the boxes we sell.

You get our rock bottom price everyday which makes it impossible for us to offer
additional discounts for purchases less than 10,000 pieces for each individual
item. We offer additional savings for distributors who can buy in lots of at least
10,000 individual boxes at a time, priced on a case by case basis.
Q: How many do I have to buy to get a volume discount?
A: Every box we sell through our website has already been discounted as if it
were part of one huge order.  Because we make the boxes we sell, we pass this
volume discount on to everyone who orders from us.  You get our rock bottom
price everyday which makes it impossible for us to offer additional discounts for
purchases less than 10,000 pieces for each individual item.

If you are interested in taking 10,000 pieces for an individual item at one time,
email us at
boxshop@bigriverpackaging.com
Q: Do you do custom printing?
A: We continue to evaluate our expansion of custom
colored boxes and the printing of customer logos and
we have concluded that in the sort term, our offering
will be limited to the pink boxes currently listed on the
site. We are developing additional equipment which we
are anticipating to be operational by the end of this
year. Keep watching our web site for the announcement
of custom printing.
Q: Will you send me samples?
A: Yes, we will be happy to send you samples.  We ask only that you pay the
postage.  Please, email Jill,
jillh@bigriverpackaging.com
1.)
The item numbers for which you would like samples
2.) Your ship to address
3.) Your phone number
And she will set it up for you.
Q: Can you send me a catalog?
A: We do not publish a catalog because our list of offerings is constantly changing
in order to meet the needs of our customers. This web store is our virtual catalog
(even internally) and represents our latest product offerings. We stand ready to
offer assistance and hope to hear from you soon if you have any questions.
Q: Do you do custom packaging design projects?
A: The cost for developing an item unique to a specific customer would include
the cost of a cutting die running between $800 and $1,200. The minimum order
requirement is 10,000 individual cartons. These would be shipped and billed upon
completion. After a prototype is approved and signed by the customer, it will take
between 6 to 10 weeks to get the order to your door.

We are adding new boxes to our site all the time.  Manufacturing a new item is
most often prompted by common requests from numerous customers.  Knowing a
new box will be one that people buy is necessary to justify the internal
developmental expense of adding an item. We are proud to be a part of the online
bakery culture and owe a lot of thanks to those who offer us input.
Q: How long will it take for my order to get here?
A: Standard method of free shipping is by way of UPS Ground.  Visit our Time in
Transit map by clicking
here to see when your order should arrive.  We scramble
every day to fill the day's orders to get your boxes to you as soon as possible.

Thank you to all of the people who have written an email to compliment us on how
quickly we get the orders out.  We read your comments and it feels great to know
our work is noticed and appreciated.

Question: I can't see the window in a lot of the box pictures.  Do your windowed
boxes have a clear material in them, or are they just holes?
Answer: Yes, every windowed box we sell has clear film that protects your baked
creations while giving hungry eyes a chance to see what you've made.  Because
the material is clear, it doesn't photograph well.
