I purchased these bags not for bread, but to protect french rolling pins that are one of the items I sell at arts/crafts shows. The material isn't as thick as I expected and so it doesn't protect the rolling pin as well as I had hoped. However, the bags should be excellent for their intended purpose and that's why the five stars.
